WashBar Paw Balm

Protective cream luxuriously formulated with organic ingredients

Organic ingredients: Kanuka, beeswax, and Copaiba. Rare ingredients gently work on skin problems, and protect paw pads exposed to high and low-temperature stimuli, and dry skin.

Key ingredients of Paw Balm

Beeswax

It is the material of beehives and is said to have moisturizing, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory properties. We source organic beeswax from the Central Otago region of New Zealand. The reason is that it contains no pesticide residues, and because this region has no history of concentrated horticulture, it contains no herbicide residues.

Copaiba

Sourced as a resin from the Copaiba tree growing in the Amazon (in the same way as maple syrup), and then distilled. We source from suppliers who partner with indigenous communities to generate income through sustainable harvesting. Copaiba is recognized for its anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and anti-hemorrhagic properties.

Kanuka

Has similar properties to Manuka, and boasts particularly high antifungal properties. WashBar sources from organic farmers on New Zealand's Coromandel Peninsula, certified by BioGro, New Zealand's largest organic certification body.

Lavender

Lavender, used since ancient times, is considered one of the oils with the most benefits among all extracted oils. It is recognized for its beneficial effects on the skin and its calming effect on the mind. It is extracted from the highest quality Pacific Blue variety of lavender and is said to have a high level of antiseptic effect.

Apricot Oil

A light oil that is easily absorbed without leaving a sticky residue.

Carrot Oil

Also used in high-end cosmetics to revitalize skin moisture. Known to strengthen red blood cells and help heal skin conditions.
