Is it okay for dogs with allergies?

What are the target ages and breeds? Is it safe for my dog?
It is a complete and balanced pet food that meets the nutritional standards of AAFCO (Association of American Feed Control Officials) and is suitable for all dog breeds and ages. However, when switching foods, please do so gradually while observing your dog's condition.
What is complete and balanced food?
Complete and balanced food is "pet food that is intended to be fed as a daily main meal to dogs or cats, and is nutritionally balanced to maintain health at specified growth stages with only the pet food and water" (from the Japan Pet Food Association website). In other words, it is a food that allows your dog to maintain health with just that food and water.
The food has a strong scent, but are artificial flavors used?
No, they are not. The flavor of the product is preserved by mixing boiled fish directly with other ingredients.
Are other additives used?
Minerals and vitamins are used to adjust the nutritional balance, but no colorings or antioxidants are used.
If preservatives are not used, does that mean the shelf life is shorter?
It has a shelf life of 8 months from preparation under proper storage conditions. The expiration date is printed on the product packaging. Once opened, please consume as soon as possible.
What if my dog doesn't eat it?
When trying new food, dogs may be wary of changes in smell or taste and refuse to eat. Please try to switch gradually over 1-2 weeks, starting with small amounts (1/4 → 1/2 → all) of the new food mixed with their current food.
Is it okay to use it as a topping?
Yes, it is. Ideally, using a topping with a similar nutritional standard will allow you to do so without lowering the overall nutritional level. We also hope you'll consider Hitowan's cube-shaped meals. If you wish to add vegetables or meat from home as a topping, please keep it to less than 20% of the total meal and observe your dog's condition.
