Is it safe for dogs with allergies?

What are the target age and breed? Is it suitable for my dog?
This is a complete and balanced food that meets the nutritional standards of AAFCO (Association of American Feed Control Officials) and is suitable for all breeds and all ages. However, please transition to the new food gradually over time, observing your dog's condition.
What is a complete and balanced food?
A complete and balanced food is defined as "pet food intended to be fed as the main daily meal for dogs or cats, which is nutritionally balanced to maintain health at specified life stages with only the pet food and water" (from the Japan Pet Food Association website). In other words, it is a food that can maintain your dog's health with just that food and water.
The food has a strong smell, but does it contain artificial flavors?
No, it does not. The product's flavor is maintained by mixing the boiled fish directly with other ingredients.
Are other additives used?
We use minerals and vitamins to adjust the nutritional balance, but we do not use artificial colors or antioxidants.
If no preservatives are used, will the shelf life be shorter?
The shelf life is 8 months from the date of manufacture when stored properly. The expiration date is stated on the product packaging. Once opened, please consume as soon as possible.
What if my dog doesn't eat it?
When trying new food, dogs may be wary of changes in smell and taste and may not eat it. Please try switching gradually from your current food over 1 to 2 weeks, starting with small amounts such as 1/4, then 1/2, then all new food.
Is it okay to use it as a topping?
Yes, it's fine. Ideally, if you use a food with a similar nutritional standard as a topping, you can use it without lowering the overall nutritional standard. We would be happy if you would also consider Hitowan's cube-shaped food. If you wish to add any vegetables or meat as a topping at home, please keep it to less than 20% of the total meal and observe your dog's condition.
